Every year, long before we made the move to the Ca Every year, long before we made the move to the Canaries, weā€™d always make our way to the @bigbangvintagefestival. Itā€™s easily one of the best free events youā€™ll come across in Las Palmas. The cultural events and music scene here in Gran Canaria, sadly, leaves much to be desired. Itā€™s mostly dominated by reggaeton or rather uninspired Latin music. As for the arts, thereā€™s a distinct lack of private galleries, no equivalent to London or West End vibes and very little in the way of alternative culture. So, every year, we find ourselves eagerly anticipating this event. Itā€™s like a little slice of our London life brought to us here. The kids always have a smashing time, dancing and playing, and weā€™re right there with them dancing! There are loads of stalls with jewellery, clothes, and a few cracking food trucks. Where we had, as Rachael said, ā€˜the absolute best burgers weā€™ve had in Gran Canariaā€™ from @foodtruck_la_quicara, and I completely agree! Itā€™s also fantastic to catch up with our friends and be recognised by the guys from @casaisleta, who pop over to say hello.
