Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria is the third largest out of seven islands which make up the Canaries. Spain is actually much closer to North Western Africa, which is why the weather is so good all year round! At its highest point Gran Canaria reaches 1956m and Angel Caves sits at around 1200m, nestled firmly in the mountains and close to the beautiful Cruz de Tejeda. The capital Las Palmas is a mixture of coastline and city, with an historic old town located in Triana and one of Spain’s most popular beaches Las Canteras, a 3km stretch of beach lined with restaurants and bars.
